BSP and board support

Bringing a platform up on your hardware, and keeping it maintainable when the vendor kernel diverges from mainline.

Yocto and build pipelines

Reproducible builds that a new engineer can run, rather than a machine in the corner that nobody dares reinstall.

Secure boot and update

Signed images, A/B partitioning and a rollback path. Once a device is network-connected, a device that cannot be patched cannot be secured, and regulators increasingly treat that as a product safety question.

Long-term maintenance strategy

Who holds the signing key, what happens when it expires, and how a product in the field is supported for its full service life.

Where an engagement usually starts

Where a platform decision is still open, a short written assessment against your actual requirements. Where it is already made and causing pain, an audit of the update and maintenance path, which is usually where the risk sits.
